January 10th we will be attending the "Creating cities of the Future with the Help of Tech-Innovation" seminar at Dubai Expo Estonian Pavilion. The seminar is organized by Tallinn and Tartu, two of the biggest cities in Estonia, both known as digital start-up hubs as well as Estonian green and cultural cities.

The e-service Sille.space, developed by the Estonian software company AS Datel, operates in space to prevent hidden damages caused by underground digging, faulty constructions, or natural disasters.
The task of the service Sille is easy to detect the sinking or rising of buildings. “The early prevention system based on the European Union’s satellite Sentinel-1 can detect the subsiding or rising of big infrastructural objects such as bridges, airfields, mining areas, and large buildings,” Oliver Stimmer, the Head of Space Domain at Datel, confirmed.
German - Baltic Digital Summit
Our business Development Manager Aimo Kõva, has the privilege of being one of the panelists for the "Sustainable Mobility in a Smart City" discussion at the German-Baltic Digital Summit in München, on October 7. Aimo will talk about smart infrastructure management using satellite data, Sille.space solution.
The second German-Baltic Digital Summit will focus on topics such as e-health, sustainable mobility in a smart city, and cybersecurity.

Datel´s, space-based infrastructure deformation monitoring service Sille.Space uses data from the European Union's satellites and can detect the shifts and subsidence of transport sector infrastructure — such as bridges, roads, railroads, metro systems, ports — with a precision of up to 1 millimeter. This innovative service helps prevent accidents caused by deterioration of infrastructure and, thus, contributes to the public’s general safety.

On 14 September, Datel was honored to participate in the panel discussion of the France-Estonia Business Forum "Smart and Green Mobility: Cities of the Future: Safer, Greener, Smarter?".
The panel was moderated by Allan Dobrõs, Business Development Manager at e-Estonia (EAS), Mari-Ly Klaats from Auvetech, Hans Leis from Bercman Technologies, Ülari Teder from Eyevi Technologies, Cyrille Gabory from Siradel, Chadi Khaled from Eurovia and Oliver Stimmer, the Head of Space Domain from Datel participated in the panel.
AS Datel is introducing its solutions in the DUBAI EXPO 2020 world exhibition in the Estonian pavilion.
The aim of participating in the World Exhibition is to establish contacts both in the region and around the world.
The exposition of the Estonian pavilion focuses on digital solutions, smart inventions, and environmental protection. AS Datel will present solutions for land management, city planning, and monitoring service Sille.Space focused on using satellite data to monitor critical energy sector infrastructure including pipelines, mines, dams, and power plants.

Last week we had the opportunity to participate in the Estonian-United Arab Emirates workshop held at the e-Estonian Presentation Center and to introduce the Sille.Space Early Warning System to the representatives of The United Arab Emirates Space Agency (UAESA). UAE Space Agency participated in the business delegation of the International Meeting of Estonian Friends (EFIM), the patrons of which are former Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and tech entrepreneurs Ott Kaukver and Sten Tamkivi.
